Once upon a time …

… there were a man and a woman who had a son and a daughter and who lived in a prosperous land, called the Kingdom of Belgium.

One day the woman said to the man: “Dear husband, tell me what’s wrong, you’re turning into grumbler.”

And the man replied: “My wife, we have all we can dream of: a house, two darling children, a cat, a chicken run, two cars, a telly, a video player, … and still something’s gnawing at me. I do not feel content.”

The woman said: “Yes, I also think that there is more to life than this. I recognise the empty feeling. Let’s do something about it.”

After a lot of talking and thinking, they decided to search for a property where they could receive people and learn together with them how to enjoy the beauty of the small things of life: a kind word, a beautiful flower, a fine gesture, silence, a hug, …
